Everyone's journey to health looks different and functional health is highly personalized to each individual.
In general you can expect the following:
The first session is "Getting To Know You". In this session we gather detailed medical history, including lifestyle, environmental factors, symptoms, and family history, assess your goals, ongoing concerns, prior lab testing, beliefs, and nutritional and current lifestyle habits. This allows us to identify where to begin and create an effective plan personalized to your needs.
The next session is all about "Making a Plan" where appropriate testing is recommended to uncover hidden issues such as nutrient deficiencies, genetic predispositions, toxic exposures, hormonal imbalances, digestive disturbances, mitochondrial dysfunction, food sensitivities, and more.
Then we make sense of your results and continue your care with ongoing support. Once testing is complete and results are back we meet to review (in detail) together to discuss what they mean and if further individualization of your plan is needed. From there follow-up is determined based on your unique needs.
**to best support your needs, we require that clients have a Primary Care Physician (PCP) for emergency or acute care services.
